Description

The Magpul CTR 0.25″ Cheek Riser is a clip-on riser designed for shooters who need a slightly higher cheek weld on CTR, MOE, DT, and PR carbine stocks. Its primary purpose is to bring the eye into better alignment with an optic without the complexity or cost of a new stock entirely. A quarter inch may sound modest, but that increment is often the difference between a strained, inconsistent head position and one that lets the shooter acquire a red dot or low-power variable naturally every time the rifle comes to shoulder.

The riser attaches by clipping directly onto the stock body, so installation and removal require no tools and leave the stock itself unchanged. Magpul designed this piece originally for M14 carbine stock conversion applications, and that origin matters for AR-platform users: on an AR-15 or M4, the riser sits in the path of the charging handle unless the stock is fully extended. On non-AR platforms — or on an AR with the stock locked at its longest position — it functions without interference. Knowing that trade-off before purchase saves frustration at the range.
