Description

The Magpul Cheek Riser for MOE and CTR stocks addresses a specific ergonomic problem: when a shooter mounts a magnified optic or a higher sight line than the stock’s comb was designed for, the cheek weld suffers and consistent head positioning becomes difficult. This riser clips directly onto compatible MOE and CTR stocks, adding a quarter inch of comb height without permanent modification to the stock itself. Because it attaches and detaches without tools, it can be removed just as easily if your setup changes.

The quarter-inch rise is a modest increment, which is intentional. It suits shooters who are close to the right cheek weld but need a small correction rather than a full rebuild of their stock setup. If the gap between your natural cheek position and the sight line is larger, Magpul offers taller riser variants that stack higher.

One important compatibility note: this riser is designed for non-AR15/M4 applications. On a standard AR or M4 platform, the riser’s position along the stock can interfere with charging handle clearance. It was originally developed for M14 carbine stock conversions, and it suits any build where MOE or CTR stocks are used outside that AR platform context. The Flat Dark Earth finish matches Magpul’s standard FDE color across their accessory line, making it straightforward to coordinate with other FDE-finished components on the same rifle.
