The shell is made from a polymer-infused textile — not a simple nylon weave, but a reinforced fabric with an anti-slip texture that resists abrasion and gives the material structural memory. All seams are welded rather than stitched, which eliminates the needle holes that turn conventional pouches into wicking points during wet-weather use. The zipper is a genuine YKK AquaGuard unit with water-repellant treatment, so moisture doesn’t migrate through the closure under normal field conditions. The pouch won’t function as a submersion-proof case, but it handles rain, splashes, and damp environments without letting water in.

The zipper pull is rigged with 550 paracord finished with heat-shrink tubing, giving enough grip to work the closure barehanded or in gloves without fumbling.
