Description

The Magpul Barricade Stop is built for shooters who need a reliable way to stabilize their rifle against a barricade, window ledge, vehicle door, or any improvised rest in the field. Rather than holding the handguard against a surface directly — which invites slipping and inconsistent contact — the Barricade Stop gives you a dedicated interface point that stays planted while you adjust your angle or pivot to track a target.

The working surface is a QPQ ferritic nitrocarburized steel plate insert, which means it resists corrosion and holds up to repeated abrasion against rough concrete, brick, or steel surfaces without degrading grip. That plate is slightly curved rather than flat, a deliberate geometry choice: on an uneven surface, a flat plate can rock; the curve maintains positive contact at the center and lets the rifle pivot smoothly in any direction without losing purchase on the rest. When the insert eventually shows wear, it pulls out and swaps independently of the polymer body, so you replace only the part that takes the punishment.

The polymer body mounts to octagonal M-LOK handguards using two sets of included hardware, giving you placement options depending on your preferred grip position and support-hand technique. The Flat Dark Earth finish matches Magpul’s FDE components across their accessory line. Package includes the polymer body, the steel insert, and two complete sets of M-LOK mounting hardware.
