Description

The Magpul M-LOK QD Sling Mount gives any M-LOK-equipped handguard or forend a dedicated, low-profile attachment point for standard push-button QD swivels, including Magpul’s own QDM. The mount is precision cast from steel and finished in QPQ salt bath nitride, a process that hardens the surface against corrosion and wear rather than simply coating it — meaning the finish bonds at the material level and holds up where a spray or plating treatment would eventually chip or flake under hard use.

The anti-rotation geometry built into the mount keeps the swivel indexed in place, which stops the sling from gradually twisting and binding during movement — a practical problem with unconstrained QD cups that becomes noticeable fast during extended carry. Beveled edges around the body reduce the chance of the sling webbing or surrounding gear catching on the mount, keeping transitions clean. Because the footprint is kept deliberately small, it consumes only one M-LOK slot and leaves adjacent positions free for lights, pressure pads, or other accessories.
