Description

The MBUS Pro LR Rear Sight is built for shooters who want a capable iron-sight backup that does more than hold a fixed zero. Where a standard backup sight locks you into one point of aim, this one adds an elevation adjustment wheel calibrated for 200 to 600 meters, so you can dial a correction for distance rather than holding over and guessing. The windage knob requires no tools, which matters when conditions or positions change quickly in the field.

The flip-up aperture window offers two distinct diameters — a narrow 0.07-inch opening for precise work at distance and a wider 0.19-inch opening that pulls in more light and gives you a faster sight picture at close range or in poor light. Switching between them takes a moment and no tools. Both the deployed and stowed positions are secured by positive detents, as are the windage knob and elevation wheel, so the zero you set stays set through hard handling and transit.

The entire sight is steel, case-hardened and finished in QPQ salt bath nitride, which resists both wear and corrosion without adding unnecessary thickness or weight. When folded, the sight clears only about half an inch above the rail, sitting flat enough that it does not interfere with a mounted optic. Stowed, it occupies 2.2 inches of Picatinny rail — enough footprint to mount securely, short enough to leave room for other accessories. Mounts to any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny or STANAG 4694 rail.
