Description

The Night Fision Optic Plate + Backup Sight Combo is built for Glock MOS owners who want to mount a Leupold DeltaPoint Pro or Sig Romeo Pro without giving up a usable sight picture when the optic is removed or fails. The adapter plate fills the gap between the Glock MOS footprint and the smaller mounting pattern of those two optics, so the red dot sits correctly centered over the bore rather than relying on an ill-fitting factory spacer.

The plate is machined from 17-4 stainless steel, a grade chosen for its combination of hardness and corrosion resistance. A nitride finish adds a secondary layer of protection against moisture and surface wear, which matters on a component that lives under a red dot and absorbs slide-cycle stress every round fired. The backup sights included in the combo are blacked out — no tritium, no fiber — meaning they serve as reference points when the optic is dialed in and as an emergency co-witness option when it is not. That configuration keeps the package price down relative to illuminated backup sight sets while still covering the primary failure mode of a dead battery or damaged optic.

Installation hardware and a dedicated tool ship with the combo, which reduces the friction of the initial setup for shooters doing this on a workbench rather than at a shop. Compatibility is specific to full-size Glock MOS pistols; compact and subcompact MOS variants use a different plate geometry.
