Description

The MOE PR Carbine Stock is Magpul’s answer to a specific problem: shooters who want the compact, adjustable format of a standard carbine stock but need a more deliberate interface with the rifle during precision or positional work. It fits Mil-Spec buffer tubes, which is the standard most AR-15 and M4-pattern builds use, so it drops onto the majority of existing lower receivers without additional hardware.

The front edge of the stock is shaped as a hand rest, giving the support hand somewhere to apply rearward pressure when the rifle is rested or braced rather than held free. That pressure keeps the rifle in consistent contact with the shoulder, which matters more for repeatable shot placement than it does for raw speed. The underside of the stock body is contoured to ride on a shooting bag, so when the rifle is set into a bag for supported prone or bench work, the stock sits rather than rolls. Both of these features are drawn directly from the PRS Lite’s design philosophy and brought into a package that still collapses and stores like a standard carbine stock.

The butt features a non-slip rubber pad that absorbs some of the interface between stock and shoulder, and the cheek weld surface slopes in a way that keeps the profile trim without removing the contact area a shooter needs for consistent eye alignment behind a mounted optic. The ambidextrous latch that releases the stock for length adjustment is recessed, reducing the chance of inadvertent activation. The stock is finished in Magpul’s Olive Drab Green and is made in the USA from polymer construction. Side slots accept CTR cheek risers for use on non-AR platforms, and it is compatible with MOE SL Enhanced Rubber Buttpad replacement pads.
