MAGPUL MOE SL-S STOCK AR15/M4 BLK

Description

The MOE SL-S is Magpul’s storage-capable variant of the MOE SL carbine stock, built as a direct drop-in replacement for AR-15 and M4 platforms running a mil-spec receiver extension. Where a standard collapsible stock offers nothing beyond length adjustment, the SL-S adds a sealed internal storage compartment — a practical difference for anyone who wants a dedicated place for a CR123 battery, a spare firing pin, or any other small item they’d rather not leave loose in a bag.

The storage area is O-ring sealed and rated waterproof to 10 meters, so it stays dry even in sustained rain or a water crossing, not just the occasional splash. That capability is packaged into a deliberately narrow profile, which Magpul designed specifically to support a more upright head position and reduce the bulk that wider storage stocks tend to add. The result is an enhanced cheek weld without the added width that usually comes with it.

The stock releases on either side, making it equally accessible for left- and right-handed shooters. Fit on the receiver extension is managed by a leaf-spring tension system rather than the friction-heavy approach used on the original SL, so the stock locks positively at each position without requiring excessive force to move it. The toe is rolled and the rubber butt-pad is angled to index naturally against body armor, avoiding the common issue of a squared-off pad catching on plate carrier edges during mounting. A QD sling swivel socket is built in on both sides. The stock ships without a receiver extension tube.
