Description

The Magpul MOE TR is a mil-spec carbine stock built for shooters who want straightforward length-of-pull adjustment without fighting the mechanism to get it. The name stands for Trigger Release, which describes how the adjustment system actually works: instead of a conventional lever that requires a firm squeeze or an awkward grip angle, the MOE TR uses an ambidextrous, textured release that operates the same way from either side of the stock. That symmetry matters in practice when you are adjusting position under time pressure or while wearing gloves.

The takedown lever is a genuine departure from older stock designs. Removing a stock traditionally means compressing a high-tension spring while simultaneously manipulating the lever — a two-handed job that can be frustrating at the range. The MOE TR’s partially recessed lever handles that process one-handed without tools. A molded lock indicator lets you confirm at a glance whether the stock is seated and locked on the receiver extension, and once it is locked, the lever physically cannot back out during LOP changes. The recess keeps the lever from snagging on gear while still leaving it accessible when you need it.

Sling attachment is handled through ambidextrous M-LOK slots positioned at the rear of the stock on both sides. These accept M-LOK QD sling mounts directly and also function as footman’s loops for fixed sling attachment, so you are not committed to a single sling style. The stock is also compatible with the MOE SL Enhanced Rubber Butt-Pad if additional length of pull is needed.
