Description

The Magpul MS1 Lite is a two-point rifle sling built around a single design priority: stripping out bulk without giving up the adjustability and strength that make the original MS1 useful in the field. The foundation is a custom single-ply webbing woven to a one-inch width — narrower than standard sling webbing — which resists rolling and twisting along its length so the sling stays flat against the body during movement rather than bunching up or turning edge-on against the shooter’s shoulder. That same weave keeps the surface from pilling or abrading skin and gear over time.

Adjustment is handled by a compact MS1 Lite-specific slider designed to move freely when you want to lengthen or shorten the sling and lock without slipping once you release it. There are no loose tails or retention loops hanging off the hardware, which matters in environments where snagged equipment creates a genuine problem — moving through brush, clearing vehicles, or pulling a rifle from a rack or case. The reduced profile also makes the sling easier to stow when the firearm is cased or secured.

The system is built with compatibility in mind. Magpul’s existing MS3 and MS4 adapter family — including the Paraclip, QDM, and QD Sling Swivel — works with the MS1 Lite, so you can configure attachment points to match your rifle’s hardware without replacing the whole sling. This makes it a practical fit for lightweight carbines and smaller-format firearms where every ounce and every protruding edge is a consideration. The Ranger Green finish suits field and woodland use without drawing attention.
