Description

The Magpul MS1 MS3 Adapter exists to solve a specific problem: you have an MS1 two-point sling and you want the option to run it as a one-point without buying a separate sling. Snap this adapter onto your existing MS1 and pair it with a Paraclip, and the sling becomes convertible — shifting between two-point and one-point configurations with a single hand so you can transition shooting positions without fighting your gear.

The Paraclip hardware at the core of this system is built around a hardened steel lever that has been case hardened and finished with a QPQ salt bath nitride process — the same corrosion and wear resistance you get from Melonite, applied specifically to the lever where friction and exposure are highest. The shackle design is symmetrical, which matters for one-handed operation because it works the same direction from either side. A Cross-Bolt Lock Bar lets you pin the lever closed when security matters more than speed, and opening it restores quick-release capability if you need to drop the weapon in an emergency.

A polymer D-ring provides the coupling point that converts the front of the sling to one-point format. The 1.25-inch nylon webbing is custom-made for this system — wider than typical webbing for load distribution, treated to resist snags and abrasion, and dyed with a Near Infrared treatment that reduces the IR signature of colored webbing under night-vision conditions. The adapter works with looped attachment points like the Magpul ASAP plate and is manufactured in the United States to Berry Amendment standards.
