MAGPUL PARACLIP

Description

The Magpul Paraclip is a clip-on sling attachment designed for shooters who want a fast, tool-free way to connect a sling to a wide range of mounting points without committing to a fixed attachment method. Rather than threading a sling through a loop or swivel and leaving it there permanently, the Paraclip clips on and releases instantly, letting you swap slings between rifles or reconfigure your setup in seconds.

The clip body is built from QPQ-finished steel, which gives the bearing surfaces corrosion resistance while keeping weight down. The closure is secured by a Cross-Bolt Lock Bar — a transverse pin that prevents the clip from opening under load or during rough handling, without adding extra steps to a deliberate release. Magpul has tested the assembly to hold against more than 300 pounds of force, which comfortably exceeds anything a sling will see in normal use or even a full body-weight hang.

The Paraclip fits slings up to 1-1/4 inches wide, which covers most two-point and single-point sling webbing currently on the market. On the mounting-point side, it works with the Magpul ASAP, RSA, M-LOK Paraclip Sling Mount, SGA Receiver Sling Mounts, and shotgun Forward Sling Mounts, as well as many snap-hook style sling loops with an inner diameter of at least 3/8 inches — though loops at 9/16 inches or larger will give the clip its full range of motion. This breadth of compatibility makes it a practical choice for anyone running a mixed system of Magpul sling hardware across multiple firearms.
