Description

The Magpul PRS GEN3 is a precision-adjustable stock built for shooters who need a repeatable, stable platform on a semi-automatic rifle — particularly those running it in a varmint or long-range role where consistency between shots matters. It fits both AR15/M16 and AR10/SR25 pattern rifles, making it a practical choice whether you’re running a .223 build or a larger-format cartridge.

Both length of pull and cheek piece height adjust without tools, using aluminum detent knobs that hold their position under recoil rather than creeping over a string of shots. That combination matters for precision shooting: a consistent cheek weld directly affects where your eye sits behind the optic, and repeatable length of pull keeps your trigger reach the same each time you shoulder the rifle. Neither adjustment requires breaking your setup or reaching for a hex key in the field.

The stock is optimized for rifle-length receiver extensions, which gives it a firm, stable interface with the receiver, though it will also mount to many mil-spec carbine and A5-length tubes. The rubber butt-pad adjusts for both height and cant, letting you dial in the angle of the pad to match your shoulder geometry and the height needed to align with your optic. Rotation-limiting QD sling swivel cups are built in, so you can attach a sling without the cup spinning under load. M-LOK slots on the underside accommodate a rear monopod for supported shooting from a bench or a bipod-equipped rifle.
