Description

The Magpul Enhanced Rubber Butt-Pad, 0.70″ is a drop-in replacement pad designed for shooters who want a more substantial heel and toe contact point against the shoulder. Where the standard pad on CTR and MOE Mil-Spec carbine stocks sits relatively close to the receiver extension, this thicker unit adds enough depth to meaningfully shift how the rifle settles during a mount, giving the shoulder a larger surface to work with. That added depth also contributes to recoil management: the vented rubber construction compresses on firing, spreading impulse across more of the pad’s face rather than transmitting it through a smaller contact area.

Compatible stocks include the CTR, MOE Mil-Spec, STR, ACS, and ACS-L. It will physically install on Commercial-Spec MOE and CTR stocks as well, though the slanted geometry of most commercial receiver extensions may prevent the stock from reaching its fully collapsed setting — worth checking before committing if compact storage or transport matters to you. It is not compatible with the MOE Fixed Carbine Stock. Installation uses the existing hardware already on the stock, so no additional fasteners are needed. Made in the USA.
