Description

The MDT GRND-POD is a precision rifle bipod built for shooters who need a capable, field-ready support system without paying a premium for features they may never use. It fits M-LOK handguards directly, so there is no adapter between the mount and the rail — the connection is rigid and low-profile from the start.

The legs are constructed from carbon fiber over a 6061-T6 aluminum core, with high-strength polymer buttons handling the locking mechanism. That combination keeps weight down while giving the structure enough stiffness to resist the kind of flex that throws a shot off at distance. Each leg adjusts independently, which matters when you are setting up on a hillside or rocky ground where one side of a bipod always wants to sit shorter than the other. Height runs from 4.5 inches in the forward-swept position to 9 inches when the legs are dropped straight down, both measured from the pivot point, so you have meaningful range for adjusting to the terrain rather than just the shooting position.

Cant adjustment uses a toolless tension system that you can operate with one hand, leaving your support hand on the rifle. The tension is adjustable rather than fixed, which lets you dial in exactly how much resistance the cant needs before it moves — firm enough to hold zero under recoil, loose enough to re-level quickly between shots. Leg deployment, length adjustment, cant control, and stowing are all designed around single-hand operation throughout, which reduces the time between getting into position and taking a shot.
