Description

The MDT Oryx Bipod is built for hunters and precision shooters who want a lightweight, field-ready support solution without sacrificing rigidity. The legs are made from a premium polymer blend, which keeps weight down while maintaining enough stiffness to hold a consistent zero under load — a trade-off that makes more sense for a hunting rifle carried through terrain than for a dedicated bench setup where weight is irrelevant.

Attachment is via M-LOK, so the bipod indexes directly to a compatible handguard slot without a separate adapter or picatinny rail section adding height or slop. The height adjusts between 7.2 and 10 inches, giving you enough range to compensate for uneven ground or varied shooting positions. Leg positions are numbered, so if you dial in a setting that works for your specific setup, you can return to it without guessing.

One-handed operation is a deliberate design priority here. You can stow, deploy, adjust cant tension, and extend the legs without shifting your firing grip or breaking position. The cant tension lever is adjustable, which lets you tune how freely the rifle tilts side-to-side on the bipod — useful when the ground beneath you isn’t flat. Button internals are shielded from debris, which matters when you’re deploying from dirt, gravel, or wet grass. The rubber feet draw their tread pattern from soccer cleats and tire designs, providing grip across hard and soft surfaces alike.

One thing to note: the Oryx Bipod does not include a sling attachment point. If sling retention through the bipod is part of your setup, MDT offers a separate sling swivel variant for that purpose.
