Description
The MDT ORYX Bipod with Sling Swivel Stud attachment is built for hunters and precision rifle shooters who want a capable, no-frills support solution without carrying unnecessary weight. The legs are molded from a high-strength polymer blend rather than aluminum, which keeps the unit light while still providing the rigidity needed to hold a stable position shot to shot. This is a deliberate trade-off: polymer construction absorbs minor flex rather than transmitting it, which can work in the shooter’s favor on hard, uneven surfaces.
The sling swivel stud interface is what separates this variant from the M-LOK version. If your rifle’s forend terminates in a traditional swivel stud rather than a rail or M-LOK slot, this is the correct attachment point — no adapter required, no rail section to add. The bipod mounts directly and removes cleanly.
Leg height adjusts across a 7.2-to-10-inch range, measured at the pivot point, giving you meaningful flexibility between prone shooting on flat ground and slightly elevated positions over uneven terrain. Numbered leg positions let you return to a known height consistently, which matters when switching between multiple shooting positions in the field. The cant adjustment is handled by a tension lever rather than a locking collar, so you can dial in the amount of resistance that suits your preference and repeat it. Legs stow without a button press — a single motion folds them — and deploy with a flick, keeping both hands free for the rifle until the last moment. The rubber feet are patterned to grip on surfaces ranging from rock to wet grass, reducing the tendency to walk forward under recoil. Finish is Matte Black.
