Description
The Polonium 30 is Otter Creek Labs’ answer to a single suppressor that earns its place across a broad range of rifle platforms rather than being optimized for just one. It handles the full spectrum from supersonic 7.62mm loads on a precision or semi-automatic rifle down to subsonic .300 Blackout out of an AR-format host, which makes it a practical choice for shooters who run more than one rifle and don’t want a dedicated can for each.
Construction is H900 heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel throughout. That heat treatment process increases yield strength significantly over annealed stainless, which matters on a suppressor that may see sustained fire from a semi-automatic host. The exterior geometry is deliberately relieved — material is cut away wherever it isn’t structurally necessary — which serves two purposes simultaneously: it keeps overall weight down, and the increased surface area allows heat to shed faster between strings of fire. That’s a real-world consideration for anyone running a duty-style rifle hard.
The Polonium 30 incorporates both internal and external flash-hiding geometry, which reduces visible signature at the muzzle. For shooters running night-vision equipment, that difference in flash and gas dispersion is meaningful in a way it simply isn’t under ambient light. The rear of the suppressor uses the 1.375×24 hub thread pattern that has become a widely adopted industry standard, so it accepts a broad ecosystem of mounts and adapters rather than locking you into a single proprietary system. It ships with a direct-thread adapter and tube clamp to get you running out of the box. The Cerakote finish is applied in Flat Dark Earth, matching the color Otter Creek Labs designates for this variant.
