Description
The BDE36 Ti is Primary Weapons Systems’ answer to a specific problem: how do you build a suppressor capable of handling the sustained pressure of magnum-class cartridges without the weight penalty that typically comes with steel or Inconel construction? The answer is 3D-printed titanium, which allows PWS to consolidate internal geometry in ways that conventional machining cannot easily replicate, producing a can that stays light while maintaining the structural integrity demanded by .338 Lapua Magnum and 8.6 Blackout.
The modular design gives the shooter a meaningful choice at the range. The longer configuration extends overall length and dwell time for more complete gas expansion, which translates to additional sound reduction and lower felt concussion. The shorter configuration sacrifices some of that acoustic performance in exchange for a more manageable package on the rifle — a genuine trade-off, not a marketing distinction. Both configurations share the same DLC-coated exterior, a finish that resists the oxidation and thermal cycling that suppressor surfaces endure in regular use.
The 1.375″x24 thread pattern is the large-format industry standard for suppressors in this bore class, and the included 5/8×24 direct thread HUB mount means the BDE36 Ti can mount directly to most production barrels without an additional adapter. The HUB system also accommodates other mounting options, so shooters who run a quick-detach mount on a different host can adapt without registering a separate suppressor. At 1.75 inches in diameter, the tube clears most standard-profile barrels without rail interference.
