Description

The Radian Model 1 in 6mm ARC is built for shooters who want a compact, flat-shooting rifle capable of reaching well past the distances where most AR-platform cartridges start to fade. The 6mm ARC was developed specifically for the AR-15 bolt-face and feeds from standard STANAG-pattern magazines, which means this rifle integrates into an existing AR ecosystem without requiring dedicated lower receivers or proprietary components. Where the cartridge earns its keep is in retained velocity and wind resistance at distance — it carries significantly more ballistic coefficient than 5.56 NATO at the same bullet weights, making it a practical choice for precision work on steel or in the field at ranges where the latter round runs out of steam.

Radian finishes the upper receiver, lower receiver, and handguard together in OD Green Cerakote as matched components, so the color is uniform rather than assembled from separately coated parts. The extended aluminum handguard uses Magpul M-LOK slots and incorporates an integrated upper section that eliminates the gap between handguard and upper receiver, giving the support hand a continuous rail surface. Controls throughout are fully ambidextrous — the Radian Talon safety selector runs in both 45- and 90-degree throw positions, and the Raptor-SD charging handle is designed around suppressed use, venting gas away from the shooter’s face when a suppressor increases backpressure. The ATC AR Gold trigger is a match-grade unit, relevant here because the 6mm ARC’s long-range utility depends on a predictable, consistent break. The 14.5-inch barrel ships with a pinned Dead Air flash hider.
