Radian’s 14.5-inch 6mm ARC complete upper is built for shooters who want a compact, capable rifle that reaches further than a 5.56 platform without stepping up to a heavier cartridge. The 6mm ARC was designed from the outset around a long, high-BC projectile, and the 1:7 twist rate ensures the barrel stabilizes the heavier bullets that make this caliber worth running — lighter loads will also shoot well, but the twist is optimized for the upper end of the weight range where 6mm ARC earns its reputation at distance.

The mid-length gas system is a deliberate choice for this barrel length. Compared to a carbine-length system on the same barrel, it draws gas from further down the bore, which spreads the pressure curve over a longer dwell time and meaningfully softens the recoil impulse. That translates to faster target reacquisition and less wear on bolt carrier components over a service life of sustained fire.

The Dead Air KeyMo flash hider threads directly onto the barrel and also serves as the mounting interface for compatible Dead Air suppressors, so the muzzle device is functional rather than decorative. The Radian Raptor-SD charging handle is ambidextrous and vents gas away from the shooter’s face — relevant when running suppressed. The 14-inch M-LOK handguard gives full rail real estate for lights, lasers, and grips without adding unnecessary weight at the muzzle. A Radian Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group and a Cerakote finish in Flat Dark Earth complete the assembly, which is hand-fitted and function-tested at the factory before it ships.
