Radian Weapons built this upper and handguard set for builders who want a complete, matched upper assembly without sourcing components individually or accepting mismatched tolerances between parts that were never designed together. The 15.5-inch M-LOK handguard gives you a long, uninterrupted rail surface that lets you push your support hand well forward for better muzzle control without crowding a standard-length handguard. That forward grip position also matters if you’re running a suppressor, since the extra length keeps your hand clear of heat buildup at the muzzle end.

The upper receiver and handguard are machined by Radian as a matched set, which means the fit between them is engineered rather than incidental. M-LOK slots are distributed around the handguard so you can mount lights, lasers, or grip stops exactly where your hand naturally lands rather than working around fixed rail sections. The Brown Cerakote finish is Radian’s own color — not a generic FDE or tan — and it’s applied over the full assembly for consistent appearance across both pieces.

Radian includes their Raptor-SD charging handle in this set. The Raptor-SD is designed specifically for suppressor use, with an enlarged latch geometry that lets you cycle the action while wearing gloves or when carbon fouling makes the handle stiff, and the ambidextrous latch design works the same from either side without requiring a switch in grip. This is a parts set, not a complete upper — you’ll add your own bolt carrier group, barrel, and gas system — which makes it well suited to a builder who already has preferred components and wants the upper and handguard done right.
