Description

The Radian Weapons Afterburner and Ramjet combination is built for shooters who want meaningful recoil and muzzle-flip reduction on a carry-size pistol without adding a separately threaded barrel. The two components work together as an integrated system: the Ramjet is a fluted, match-grade barrel chambered in 9mm, and the Afterburner is a micro-compensator that mounts directly to it using Radian’s INTRA-LOK system.

INTRA-LOK works on a taper-lock principle. A tapered locking screw engages an angled V-groove cut into the underside of the barrel, drawing the compensator tight against the muzzle-end profile as it locks. Because the compensator indexes to the barrel itself rather than relying on thread timing, alignment is consistent and the assembly stays put under sustained fire. Removal and reinstallation are equally straightforward, which matters if you clean the barrel and comp separately.

This configuration is fitted specifically to the Glock 19 and Glock 45 Gen 6 platform. When installed, the combined barrel-and-compensator length extends the overall profile to match a Glock 17, which means standard Glock 17 holsters will fit without modification — a practical consideration for anyone building around an existing holster inventory.

The barrel carries a 1-14 left-hand twist and measures 4.9 inches, finished in Radian’s Radianite coating in black. The fluted profile reduces weight along the barrel without compromising the bore geometry. No threaded muzzle means the Afterburner is the only intended muzzle device for this setup.
