The Rearden Argos is a cantilever scope mount built for shooters who need a precise, repeatable optic platform on a Picatinny-railed rifle. The 34mm tube diameter accommodates the larger main tubes common on modern LPVOs and prism scopes, giving those optics a secure, properly centered fit rather than an adapter-and-shim arrangement. At 1.74 inches of mount height, the Argos positions the optical axis high enough to achieve a natural cheek weld when running a quality AR-style stock, which matters for extended shooting sessions where fatigue from an awkward head position compounds over time.

Rearden machines the Argos from 7075-T651 aluminum, an alloy chosen for its strength-to-weight ratio rather than for ease of machining — it machines harder than the more common 6061, which is why it shows up in aerospace and high-load structural applications.
