Description
The Reptilia RECC-E is built for shooters who want a stock that behaves like a fixed rifle stock in terms of cheek weld consistency, but retains the adjustability of a carbine platform. The proprietary receiver extension is sized to match a standard mil-spec carbine tube, which means your existing buffer and spring hardware transfers over without modification — a practical advantage when swapping stocks between builds.
The body is constructed from impact-modified glass-filled nylon polymer, a material choice that keeps weight down without sacrificing the rigidity needed for a repeatable cheek weld. The receiver extension itself is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, and hardware is nitride-treated alloy steel — each material assigned to the role where it earns its place rather than a single material applied throughout. Total system weight comes in at 12 oz., which is meaningful when the stock is at the far end of the rifle and affects balance during extended holds.
Length of pull adjusts from 10.8 to 14.2 inches, covering a wide range of shooter builds and kit configurations including body armor. Ambidextrous QD sling sockets are built in, so you are not adding a separate attachment point that creates a pressure point against the stock. A rubberized buttpad rounds out the package. The RECC-E ships as a complete system — receiver extension included — so it installs as a unit rather than requiring you to source a tube separately. Finished in Flat Dark Earth.
