Description

The Reptilia ROF-90 is a 30mm offset mount built for shooters who need a backup or secondary optic positioned at a 90-degree angle from their primary line of sight. That offset geometry lets you rotate the rifle to instantly acquire a close-range dot without breaking a bolt-action or magnified-optic shooting position — a genuine mechanical advantage when your primary optic is dialed for distance and a fast transition matters.

The mount is designed specifically around the Aimpoint ACRO P1/P2 and Steiner MPS footprints, so the interface is purpose-built rather than adapted. The interface matters here because an optic running under the stress of a canted mount sees different load paths than one sitting flat on a rail — a dedicated fit keeps the optic seated consistently and eliminates the slop that comes from generic adapters bridging mismatched patterns.

The body is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, which is a structural aluminum alloy commonly chosen in mounting hardware when the goal is to minimize added weight while keeping the piece rigid enough to hold zero under recoil.
