Description
The Reptilia ROF-90 is built for shooters who run a magnified primary optic and need a fast, reliable path to a non-magnified red dot at close range. Rather than reaching for a separate weapon or breaking a firing position to adjust magnification, the ROF-90 mounts an Aimpoint Micro at 90 degrees to the bore, letting a shooter rotate the rifle slightly and immediately pick up a clear sight picture through the offset optic. The geometry keeps the transition instinctive and repeatable under pressure.
The mount is machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum, a material that keeps weight down without sacrificing the rigidity needed to hold zero through recoil and handling. The exterior carries a MIL-STD Type III hardcoat anodized finish — the same specification used across military and professional equipment — which resists wear and corrosion without adding meaningful thickness to the surface. The black finish here is referred to as Anodized Black by Reptilia, not a painted or Cerakote coating.
Compatibility is a deliberate design feature rather than an afterthought. The ROF-90 drops directly into existing Reptilia AUS mounts and Geissele Super Precision 34mm magnified optic mounts, meaning a shooter already running one of those platforms can add offset red dot capability without replacing hardware or re-zeroing the primary optic. The 34mm bore diameter corresponds to those mount families. At 3 ounces, the ROF-90 adds minimal weight to a system where balance already matters.
