Description
The Riton 5 Conquer is built for precision long-range shooting — the kind of work where a shooter needs to read corrections quickly, dial with confidence, and hold a zero through repeated field use. It fits competitors in PRS-style matches as well as hunters who work at extended distances and want a scope that can grow with their skill.
Sitting the reticle on the first focal plane means the TPSR subtensions stay true at every magnification setting. At 4x you can use the reticle to hold for wind or drop without converting figures for the power level you happen to be running — an important practical difference from second focal plane designs, where the subtensions are only calibrated at one power. The TPSR is a Christmas-tree-style MRAD grid, which gives shooters a wide spread of horizontal hold points without needing to re-dial for every wind call during a stage or a sequence of shots.
The R5 zero-stop system lets you return to your zero under time pressure or in low light without counting clicks — you simply run the elevation turret down until it stops. The Dual Throw Lever System (patent pending) gives you a fast, secure grip point for power changes, and because the lever is removable, it does not interfere with rings or mounts if you prefer to run without it. Clicks are 1/10 MRAD, so each input has a consistent, meaningful effect on point of impact rather than requiring multiple clicks to see a real change downrange.
The tube is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and the objective lens is fully multi-coated with Riton’s low-light enhancement treatment, which helps maintain image quality when shooting conditions deteriorate early or late in the day.
