Description

The Sparrow 22 is SilencerCo’s answer to the most practical suppressor use case: a dedicated rimfire can that gets used often, cleaned regularly, and shared across multiple platforms. It is built for shooters who run a .22 LR host regularly enough that fouling accumulates fast and serviceability matters more than a sealed, set-it-and-forget-it design.

At the center of the Sparrow’s design is a monolithic core paired with Multi-Part Containment technology. The monolithic core handles sound mitigation as a single machined unit, keeping the bore axis consistent and reducing the internal surfaces where precision matters most. The Multi-Part Containment system means the suppressor breaks down into components that can actually be cleaned — an important distinction for rimfire use, since the unburned lead and wax fouling from .22 LR ammunition builds up in a way that centerfire carbon does not. A suppressor that cannot be disassembled will eventually perform poorly on a rimfire host; one that can be torn down and scrubbed will hold its performance over a much longer service life.

The Sparrow 22 is also compatible with 5.7x28mm, which means it can follow a shooter from a rimfire pistol or rifle to a 5.7 platform without requiring a second can. Construction is stainless steel throughout, which holds up to the corrosive chemistry of rimfire residue and stands up to repeated disassembly cycles without wearing out threads or sealing surfaces. The direct-thread mount connects to a host barrel without additional adapters, though SilencerCo’s Delta Adapter is included in the box for added mounting flexibility.
