Description

The Velos LBP 556K is built for shooters running short-barreled hosts or full-auto platforms, where the usual penalties of suppressor use — excess gas blowback into the action and accelerated wear — are most pronounced. The LBP designation refers to the internal geometry that routes propellant gases through the core in a way that reduces the pressure pushed back into the host firearm, keeping the action cleaner and the shooter more comfortable over extended strings of fire.

Construction centers on a 3D-printed Inconel 625 core that is fully welded to 17-4 stainless steel front and rear modules. Inconel handles sustained heat and pressure that would compromise lesser alloys, while the welded assembly eliminates the weak points that threaded or staked joints can introduce under hard use. SilencerCo finishes the entire unit in their V-Series Cerakote, a coating formulated to hold up under the sustained high temperatures generated by high-rate-of-fire use rather than the standard Cerakote chemistry used on parts with lower thermal demands.

The Hoplon Blast Baffle sits at the rear of the suppressor and deflects hot debris away from the internal baffles, which extends service life specifically on hosts with short barrels that produce a more violent and unburned-powder-heavy gas pulse. The unit ships with an Internal Charlie Flash Hider Front Cap — a front cap that integrates flash-hiding geometry while preserving a flush, flat-faced profile — along with a Charlie ASR mount, an ASR flash hider, a spanner wrench, and a Charlie tool.
