Description

The Tango-DMR is built around the demands of designated marksman work: extended-range precision shooting where the shooter needs both the resolution to identify a target at distance and the magnification to place a precise shot on it. The 5-30x range gives a usable wide-field-of-view setting at the low end for situational awareness, while the top end delivers the kind of magnification that makes wind calls and point-of-impact confirmation at long range practical rather than theoretical.

The scope is built on a 34mm main tube, which provides greater internal adjustment range than a 30mm tube — that extra travel matters when you’re dialing significant elevation corrections at extended distances rather than relying on a reticle holdover. Placement in the first focal plane means the DEV-L MRAD reticle scales correctly at every magnification, so any holdover or ranging calculation you make from the subtensions is valid whether you’re at 5x or 30x. This is a meaningful trade-off: a second focal plane reticle is only accurate at one magnification, which forces the shooter to remember which power the reticle was calibrated for. In a DMR role where target distance can change quickly, the FFP arrangement removes that variable.

The zero-stop elevation dial with a press-to-unlock mechanism lets you return to your dope without counting revolutions or risking an accidental shift under field conditions. The low-profile capped windage turret reflects the intended use — wind corrections at this level are typically dialed on the elevation turret against a known wind value, not tracked live on the windage dial. The illuminated DEV-L reticle supports low-light use without requiring a separate aiming solution, and the included sunshade and throw lever round out a package oriented toward field deployment rather than bench use.
