Description

The Sig Sauer X-Ray3 sight set is built for shooters who need reliable target acquisition in both daylight and low-light conditions without choosing between the two. The front sight uses a No. 6 tritium-illuminated insert surrounded by a high-visibility green ring that pulls the eye naturally to the front sight even in bright outdoor light, where tritium alone tends to wash out. At night, the tritium vial takes over, providing a self-luminous reference that requires no batteries or activation. This dual-purpose design removes the need to swap sights or carry a separate setup for different lighting environments.

The rear sight is a No. 8 unit with a round notch profile. That rounded notch, compared to a conventional square-cornered U-notch, lets the eye center the front sight more intuitively rather than requiring a precise angular reference from the rear. For shooters whose eyes have trouble resolving sharp corners under stress or in dim light, this geometry speeds up the sight picture without introducing ambiguity about alignment.
