Description
The Sig Sauer X-RAY3 sight set is designed for shooters who need reliable target acquisition across a full range of lighting conditions — from bright afternoon sun to low-light or near-dark environments. The system pairs a tritium-illuminated front element with a tritium rear, so the sight picture remains usable without any batteries or activation steps. During daylight, the green outline around the front tritium vial gives the eye a fast, high-contrast reference against most target backgrounds, which is where the X-RAY3 earns its keep compared to plain black iron sights that can flatten out in poor light.
The front is a No. 6 profile paired with a No. 8 square-notch rear. The square notch geometry, rather than a U-notch, produces a more defined reference along the top edges of the rear sight, which tends to help with precise shot placement rather than speed-only shooting. That combination suits a defensive carry pistol that doubles as a range gun — you are not giving up precision to get low-light capability.
This set is configured for the P938 and P320 platforms, so the dovetail dimensions and sight heights are matched to those frames without requiring additional fitting or shimming. Sight height on a compact pistol matters for point-of-impact consistency, and using a sight designed for the specific platform avoids the trial-and-error of adapting a universal sight. Included are one No. 6 green front sight and one No. 8 square-notch rear sight.
