SL 6004 SMALL TAC PLATE W/DFA OD

Description

The Safariland Model 6004-25 is a single-strap leg shroud and Drop Flex Adapter combination designed for duty and tactical carry. It is an add-on component intended for use with compatible Safariland holsters, allowing the holster and any attached accessories to transfer quickly between thigh carry and other mounting configurations without removing or reinstalling the holster itself.

The Drop Flex Adapter replaces the conventional vertical leg strap. That change moves the entire mounting platform higher on the thigh, which shortens the lever arm between your belt and the holster body. A shorter lever arm reduces lateral movement during movement and draws, giving you a more stable platform without requiring a second leg strap to manage that play. The DFA accepts belt widths from 2 to 2.25 inches (50–58 mm), covering the majority of duty belt setups.

The thigh plate itself is MOLLE-capable, with mounting holes sized for two Safariland tactical accessories — pouches, lights, or similar kit can be attached directly to the plate rather than run on a separate belt or carrier. The single leg strap is lined with silicone on the contact surface, which keeps the shroud from riding up or rotating on the thigh during extended wear without relying on additional tightening. This unit is finished in OD Green.
