SL 6390RDS STACC HD X300U STX BLK LH

Description

The Safariland 6390RDS is a duty holster built around one specific problem: mounting a red dot sight to a carry pistol raises the slide profile enough that most standard holsters either won’t retain the gun properly or won’t release it cleanly. The 6390RDS is engineered from the start to accommodate that taller sight plane, so the draw stroke stays consistent and the retention geometry works the way it should rather than fighting the optic.

This configuration is cut specifically for the Staccato HD P4 running a SureFire X300U weapon light. That combination of full-size frame, extended dust cover, and rail-mounted light is a common duty setup, and the holster’s internal geometry reflects it — the fit is tight enough for active retention but indexed to that exact gun and light combination, not generically sized for anything that roughly fits. Running a different light or a different frame will change how the pistol sits and how it releases, so the specificity here is a feature, not a limitation.

The STX finish is Safariland’s plain-faced thermoplastic texture, which holds up to daily wear and holster sweat without the added visual complexity of basketweave or safari patterns. It’s a working finish for a working holster. Left-hand configuration means the draw side and retention release are oriented for a shooter carrying on the right hip drawing with the left hand, or for a cross-draw or support-side setup — the geometry is not interchangeable with the right-hand version. Construction is polymer throughout, keeping weight down on a platform that’s already carrying a light-equipped pistol.
