Description

The Safariland 7360RDS is a mid-ride duty holster built specifically for officers and carriers who run a red dot optic on their Sig Sauer P320. Most standard holsters are molded around the slide profile alone, which means a mounted optic either won’t fit or sits unsupported in open air. The 7360RDS is shaped to accommodate the optic housing as part of the fitment, so the pistol seats fully and is retained correctly every time it’s holstered.

Retention is handled by two independent systems working in sequence. The ALS—Automatic Locking System—engages automatically the moment the pistol is seated, capturing the weapon without any manual step from the shooter. Releasing it requires only a thumb motion, and the draw goes straight up, which keeps the movement simple enough to execute under stress without conscious thought. The SLS—Self Locking System—adds a rotating hood over the top of the pistol, combining with the ALS to produce Level III retention. That combination means an attempted weapon grab has to defeat two separate mechanisms before the firearm moves.

The holster body is formed from Safariland’s SafariSeven material, a proprietary nylon blend that stays rigid through temperature extremes that would warp or soften conventional plastics, and that holds its shape after prolonged water exposure. The interior surface is non-abrasive, so it won’t wear the slide finish or scratch an optic body during daily carry. Raised contact points inside the holster create small air gaps around the firearm, letting debris and moisture drain clear rather than sitting against the metal. The mid-ride belt loop positions the pistol close to the body, which reduces lever arm and keeps the holster from shifting during movement. This variant is configured for right-hand draw in plain Black.
