SL 7371 7TS ALS OWB SHIELD BLK RH

Description

The Safariland 7371 is built for concealed carry with an outside-the-waistband paddle mount — a combination that suits plainclothes carriers and off-duty use where the holster needs to come on and off quickly without a belt change. The micro paddle format keeps the footprint small enough that the rig rides close to the body, which matters when the goal is discretion rather than duty-grade retention depth.

The core of the design is Safariland’s Automatic Locking System. When you reholster, ALS engages on its own with no extra step required, securing the firearm without a strap or hood to fumble with. The release is a thumb lever built into the draw stroke itself — as your hand acquires a shooting grip, your thumb sweeps the release naturally, so the draw motion and the unlock happen simultaneously rather than in sequence. That means no separate step to clear before the gun moves.

The holster body is molded from SafariSeven, Safariland’s non-marking nylon blend. The material is formulated to resist warping from temperature swings and moisture exposure, which matters for a holster that may spend time in a vehicle or in changing weather. Raised interior stand-offs keep the gun’s finish off the holster wall, letting debris and moisture clear rather than pack against the slide. The STX Plain finish presents a matte black exterior. This variant is cut for the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield in 9mm and .40 S&W, right-hand draw, and the 571BL paddle fits belt widths from 1.5 to 1.75 inches.
