Description

The Safariland INCOG-X is a concealed-carry inside-the-waistband holster built for shooters who carry a Glock 17 or 19 with a weapon-mounted light and need a rig that disappears under a cover garment without sacrificing draw speed. The holster body is constructed from Boltaron and wrapped in microfiber suede — the suede facing the body reduces printing and keeps the holster from shifting against skin or fabric, while the rigid Boltaron shell maintains its shape and protects the trigger guard whether or not a firearm is seated in it.

Retention is passive, meaning the firearm is held by the geometry of the shell itself rather than a mechanical locking device — no lever or button to defeat before the draw, just a consistent, tunable resistance through the built-in tension adjustment. That adjustment matters in practice: tightening it down firms up the draw stroke for active use, while loosening it slightly lets you find a pull weight you can replicate reliably under stress.

The over-the-belt polymer clips open outward and slide down over the belt, locking into place without requiring a separate mounting tool. A finger tab actuates to release them, so installation and removal are quick without permanently threading anything through belt loops. The clip struts accept concealment shims in three sizes, letting you change the ride height and cant to shift where the grip sits relative to your waistline — useful if your body type or carry position makes standard ride height print through a cover garment. The sight channel is cut to accommodate micro and full-size red-dot optics mounted on the slide, so switching between iron sights and a red dot does not require a different holster shell.
