Description
The Safariland INCOG-X is a deep-concealment inside-waistband holster built specifically for the Glock 43X and 48 with a weapon light attached. It came out of a collaboration between Safariland and Haley Strategic Partners as a tenth-anniversary redesign of the original Incog, and the changes are substantive rather than cosmetic.
The body is thermoformed Boltaron wrapped in microfiber suede. The suede matters here: it sits against the body without the slick, abrasive feel of bare polymer, and it helps keep the holster from shifting during movement. Passive retention is handled at the trigger guard and ejection port, with an adjustable tension mechanism so you can dial in the draw resistance to match your preference and the weight of whatever light you’re running.
The clip system is where this generation differs most from its predecessor. The over-the-belt polymer clips open outward and ride down with the holster to lock over the belt, and a finger tab lets you release and reposition without tools. Each holster ships with three clip strut shims in 1/8″, 1/4″, and 3/8″ thicknesses, which adjust how far the grip cants away from the body — a practical way to tune print reduction for different clothing or carry positions without buying additional hardware.
The sight channel is cut to .406″ in height, accommodating both micro and full-size red-dot sights, so upgrading your optic later doesn’t require a new holster. A magazine caddy with its own tension adjustment is available as an optional add-on for those who want to run a spare on the same platform. This is a right-hand holster.
