Description

The Safariland INCOG-X is an inside-the-waistband holster built for daily concealed carry of the Smith & Wesson M&P M2.0 with a weapon light attached. It is a joint development with Haley Strategic, and the design reflects that input: retention, ride height, and overall profile are shaped around the practical demands of armed carry rather than range use alone.

The shell is formed from Boltaron, a thermoplastic material that holds its molded shape under heat and sustained use better than many injection-molded alternatives, giving the holster a consistent mouth for one-handed re-holstering without collapsing against the body. The exterior is wrapped in microfiber suede, which increases friction against the body and belt line to resist shifting during movement — a real-world advantage that a smooth polymer shell does not offer.

Passive retention comes from the precise fit of the Boltaron shell around the specific geometry of the M2.0 and its attached light, so no adjustable retention screw is involved. Clip positioning is adjustable, letting the carrier set ride height to match draw preference, body type, or cover garment without replacing hardware. An integrated magazine caddy is part of the unit, positioning a spare magazine on the same platform as the holster itself rather than requiring a separate carrier. The holster is cut for red dot sight compatibility, including larger footprints, so mounting an optic to the pistol does not require a different holster. This configuration is finished in Gray and is set up for right-hand draw.
