Description
The Safariland INCOG-X is built for concealed carry, specifically for shooters who need a holster that adapts to their body and carry position rather than demanding they adapt to it. It uses a thermofolded hybrid construction that conforms closely to the firearm while maintaining a low-profile footprint against the body, which reduces printing without sacrificing access to a full firing grip before the draw begins.
Retention is passive, with adjustable tension that lets you dial in exactly how much resistance you want on the draw stroke — useful when shifting between a lighter carry gun and a heavier loaded M&P M2.0. The clip system is where this generation of the INCOG-X makes its most practical improvement: the clips open outward and slide down over the belt, locking in place without tools, and a finger tab releases them just as quickly. That mechanism matters for anyone who regularly takes the holster on and off throughout the day.
The clip struts accept concealment shims in three thicknesses — 1/8″, 1/4″, and 3/8″ — all included in the box. Swapping them changes the cant angle and how close the grip sits to the body, giving you a meaningful range of adjustments without cutting or modifying anything. The holster is compatible with red dot sights on the M&P M2.0 platform, so shooters running an optic-ready slide do not need a separate solution. Confirmed fits include the M&P M2.0 9 Compact, M2.0 9 Optic Ready, M2.0 9 with and without thumb safety, M2.0 Subcompact, M2.0 9C without thumb safety, M2.0 Shield, and M&P Shield.
