Description

The Safariland Species is an inside-the-waistband holster built specifically for the Sig Sauer P365, designed for everyday concealed carry where minimizing print and bulk is the priority. Rather than adapting a universal shell, the Species uses a firearm-specific mold so the P365 sits with consistent depth and alignment every time it’s drawn or reholstered.

Construction centers on SafariLaminate, a thermal-molded material that holds its shape under daily carry conditions while a suede lining protects the pistol’s finish and reduces the slight play that can develop with bare polymer against a slide. The passive trigger guard retention is integrated into the mold itself rather than added as a separate component, which keeps the profile narrow and eliminates external levers from the draw path. A tension adjustment device lets the carrier dial in how much resistance the holster provides before the firearm breaks free, accommodating different grip styles and draw speeds without tools.

The mounting clip is fully cantable and adjustable for ride height, so the holster can be positioned for appendix, strong-side, or kidney carry depending on body type and preference. It fits belts up to 1.5 inches wide. The sight channel is cut for standard-height sights, and the shell is also compatible with several miniature red dot sights including the Romeo Zero, RMR CC, Shield RMS, Shield RMS-C, Swampfox Sentinel, Hex Wasp, and J-Point, meaning the holster does not need to be replaced if an optic is added to the pistol. This is a right-hand model in Multicam Black finish.
