The Safariland Species is an inside-the-waistband holster built for concealed carry of the Sig Sauer P365. It is aimed at carriers who want a holster that disappears under a cover garment without sacrificing the retention and build quality Safariland is known for in duty gear.

The holster is constructed from Boltaron, a thermoplastic that holds its molded shape under heat and pressure better than Kydex, which matters in a waistband environment where body heat and compression are constant. The fit is cut specifically to the P365, so the trigger guard is fully enclosed and the draw path is consistent without excess material adding bulk against the body.

A minimalist profile keeps the overall package smaller than many competing IWB designs, which reduces printing and makes all-day wear more practical. Tension is user-adjustable, so the resistance on the draw stroke can be tuned to the carrier’s preference without tools or a return trip to a workbench.
