SL VAULT DTY 3 FOR GLK 17/19 TLR1 RH

Description

The Safariland Vault is built for duty and serious training use, designed for officers and armed professionals who carry a light-mounted Glock 17 or 19 with a Streamlight TLR-1 and need a holster that can take the same punishment as the job itself. The holster body is constructed from laminate, giving it a rigid shell that resists crushing and deformation under the lateral and vertical forces that arise in a physical confrontation — something a softer or thinner-walled design simply cannot offer at the same level of structural consistency.

Retention is set at Level 3, which means the draw sequence involves multiple deliberate steps before the pistol is free. That friction is intentional: it keeps the firearm secured during a struggle without requiring a conscious re-engagement of a lock after the threat passes, because reholstering resets the system automatically. The ALS mechanism is designed to reduce internal flex during that cycle, so the retention geometry stays consistent over thousands of repetitions rather than loosening with use.

The optic cover is self-clearing, meaning it provides a protected channel over the slide that accommodates both closed- and open-emitter red dot sights without requiring the shooter to swap covers or remove the optic for holster fit. The muzzle is left open, which lets threaded barrels and compensators fit without modification and allows debris or brass to exit the holster rather than accumulate inside it. A magnetic guidance system at the mouth of the holster helps stabilize the slide on the draw and on re-entry, which matters most during low-light or high-stress reholstering. The holster is configured for right-hand outside-waistband carry and ships in black.
