Description

The Steiner T1Xi is built for shooters who need a fast, reliable red dot on a fighting or duty rifle — something that holds up under hard use and gets the eye on target without interference. The 1x magnification means both eyes stay open naturally, which keeps full situational awareness instead of narrowing your focus the way even low-power variables can. That matters in close-quarters work or any situation where you need to see more than what’s in the glass.

Three reticle configurations are available from a single unit: a 2 MOA dot alone for precise shots at distance, a 60 MOA circle on its own for fast close-range acquisition, or the two combined — circle to draw the eye in, dot to settle it for the shot. Switching between them gives you real versatility across engagement distances without changing optics. The 2 MOA dot size is a deliberate compromise: small enough not to obscure a target at moderate distance, but large enough to pick up quickly under stress.

The housing is machined from anodized magnesium, which keeps weight down to 5.36 oz without sacrificing the structural rigidity you need when an optic is taking recoil repetitively. Eleven illumination levels — nine for daylight and two night-vision-compatible settings — are controlled by low-profile push-button controls on top of the sight, operable with gloves on. Nitrogen fill prevents fogging when you move between temperature extremes. Battery life is rated at up to 50,000 hours on a CR2032, so this is not an optic you need to manage obsessively in the field. The integrated Picatinny mount and flip-up lens covers are included from the factory.
