Description

The Strike Industries FSA Dual Folding Stabilizing Brace is built for pistol-format firearms with a rear 1913 Picatinny rail, giving shooters a way to add a functional brace attachment without modifying the host firearm’s receiver. The dual-fold design is the central feature here: rather than locking to one side only, the hinge swings both left and right, so you can configure the fold to suit your holster setup, storage method, or off-hand preference without disassembling or reconfiguring anything. A secure locking mechanism holds the brace in the folded position until you need it, at which point a simple upward pull releases it into the deployed position.

The geometry is deliberate. Strike Industries engineered a 3-degree tilt into the fold angle so that when the brace is folded to the right, it clears the ejection port rather than riding against it — a practical consideration on pistols where port clearance is tight. The brace mounts directly to a 1913 Picatinny interface via built-in locking lugs, creating a positive, repeatable engagement with the rail rather than relying solely on clamping friction. Torque limits matter here: Strike Industries specifies no more than 40 in/lbs on aluminum rails and 35 in/lbs on polymer rails to avoid distorting the mounting surface.

The base, adapter, and strut are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, with a steel hinge at the fold point where wear and stress concentrate most. Ergonomic rubber pads are included to dial in locking tension and eliminate play in the deployed position. A single rear QD sling socket is integrated into the design for those who want to run a sling. The whole assembly comes in under 10 ounces, keeping the balance of a host pistol close to what it was without the brace attached.
