Description

The Strike Industries Strike Rail is a free-float handguard built for AR-15 builders who want a clean, accessory-ready platform without carrying unnecessary weight through a full-length continuous rail they will never use. The design breaks the top rail into forward and rear Picatinny sections only, leaving the center span open — a deliberate trade-off that removes material where nothing is typically mounted while preserving the mounting real estate that actually matters for a front sight or optic riser at the front and a rear backup sight or scope mount at the back.

M-LOK slots run the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, giving you attachment points for a light, angled foregrip, or bipod adapter while also opening the handguard to airflow that helps carry heat away from the barrel during sustained fire. An inside diameter of 1.57 inches means the handguard clears the barrel nut and provides clearance for a suppressor mounted to the muzzle without requiring the shooter to swap to a larger profile tube. Ambidextrous QD sockets are built directly into the body at both sides, so a sling attachment does not depend on a rail-mounted adapter that can shift under load.

The rail is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in Strike Industries’ FDE anodized coating — worth noting that the anodizing process produces slight batch-to-batch color variation, so if you are color-matching to an existing lower or stock, ordering everything together is the better approach. Installation hardware ships with the rail, including the proprietary barrel nut, barrel nut wrench, and mounting kit, so no separate hardware sourcing is required to get it onto a build.
