Description

The Strike Industries Oppressor is a muzzle-mounted blast shield designed for shooters running a suppressor on an AR-platform rifle chambered in .223 Remington or 5.56 NATO. Its purpose is straightforward: when a suppressor is threaded onto a muzzle, hot gases, carbon, and debris that would ordinarily vent rearward toward the shooter and anyone beside them are redirected and contained. The Oppressor addresses that without requiring the shooter to change anything else about their setup.

The aggressive 2.9-inch pitch of the blast shield geometry is calibrated specifically for the gas volumes and pressures generated by .223 and 5.56 rounds. A faster-than-average pitch helps intercept and deflect the high-velocity gas pulse that escapes around the suppressor body at the moment of firing, which is a different problem from what the suppressor itself is solving.
