Description

The SureFire DS07-TN is a waterproof switch assembly designed as a drop-in replacement tailcap for Scout Light M300 and M600 series WeaponLights. It suits shooters who want reliable weapon light activation across a range of conditions and mounting configurations — particularly those running a rifle or carbine where reaching the tailcap directly is not always practical.

The assembly combines two independently operating switch elements. The integrated DS00-style pushbutton at the tailcap delivers click-on and click-off constant activation, while the plug-in ST07 tape switch extends control forward via a 7-inch cable — a length suited to standard rifle and carbine handguard spans. Because the two switch paths work independently of each other, a failure or disconnect at one does not affect the other, giving the shooter a functional redundancy that matters when the light absolutely has to work. The tape switch itself is momentary-only, meaning pressure activates the light and releasing it cuts it off, which is the standard activation mode for most weapon light use in low-light work.

A system-disable feature is also built into the tailcap, allowing the light to be rendered inert at the source rather than relying on the switch position alone. The entire assembly uses an O-ring sealed construction throughout, protecting the switch connections and internals from moisture and debris in adverse conditions. The Tan finish is an anodized coating; SureFire notes that anodized Tan finishes can vary in shade between production runs, ranging from deeper browns to lighter, more neutral tones. Made in the USA.
